Ordering

Fill out the order form provided with the information listed. Your e-mail is required. Once your order is received, items will be confirmed if still available. A shipping/handling charge will be added. If insurance, shipping rate other than Media mail or any other postal service is needed, please notify us. At time of confirmation, items will be examined one more time to make sure nothing was overlooked concerning damage, usage, etc. Price will be adjusted if new flaws are discovered and customer will be notified. Once you receive the quote, please notify us if you would like to finalize your order. AN ORDER MUST BE PUT ON HOLD with notification of payment type in order to prevent items from being sold to another customer.

You may also send your order via email. The confirmation process will be handled in the same manner.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT until the confirmation process with quote is sent. Orders will be shipped once payment is received on the next designated shipping days: Monday, Wednesday, or Friday (unless PO is closed).

If ordering BJU: Due to BJU’s 2003 policy change for retailers, NO discounts are allowed to customers from retailers when purchasing NEW BJU materials. Therefore, there is a special shipping policy for BJU orders ONLY. Refer to the shipping policy for further explanation.

Shipping & Handling

One way we cut costs for our customers is to ship anywhere in the US via USPS media mail. For international orders, multiple shipping costs via the USPS are quoted so that you may decide which will suit your budget and time constraints. Media Mail rates are determined by the weight of each order; therefore, a shipping chart is not available.

If you would like your order to be shipped other than media mail, please notify us. A zip code will be required in order to calculate shipping.
For any other USPS services, for example insurance, please also notify us.

If you live in South Carolina, sales tax will also be added to your order’s total.

Please do not send any payment until a quote is sent to you which will include shipping/handling and any other fees depending on location (SC residents) or any other fee you wish to add.

Shipping/handling fees will not be refunded if any order is returned. See return policy for further information. SPECIAL BJU shipping when ordering NEW BJU materials:

1. If purchase is over $50 of NEW BJU material, shipping is FREE
2. If purchase if under $50, then normal shipping is applied
3. If purchasing mix of NEW and USED materials, and purchase is at least $75, only
    NEW material receive FREE SHIPPING

Payment

For our customers’ convenience, although we do not encourage accumulating debt, credit cards will be accepted in our store, over the phone and through the Internet via PayPal.

We accept the following forms of payment.

IN STORE: cash; check/money order made out to the Curriculum Exchange; Debit/Credit Card – Master Card, Visa, Discover ($10.00 minimum).

INTERNET ORDERS: check/money order made out to the Curriculum Exchange mailed to the store address (1973 Lincoln Rd York, SC 29745); Credit Card by phone during regular business hours – Master Card, Visa, Discover ($10.00 minimum); PayPal with Credit Card or e-check to account BeckBooks@Curriculumexchange.com

PayPal instructions:

PayPal is an online company offering many financial services. In order to facilitate, they need some information about the sender and receiver. Transactions can be completed by credit card (Master Card, Visa, Discover) or e-check. For more informations CLICK HERE to go to Paypal.com's Help page.
To send payment:
1.Go to PayPal.com and log in
2.Click “Send Money”
3.In “Recipient’s e-mail field put: BeckBooks@Curriculumexchange.com
4.In “Type” filed put “Goods –Non-Auction”
5.In “subject” field put “website order”
6.On “Source of Funds” choose Funding Options”
7.Select “credit card” or “e-check”
8.Upon completion you may click, “View Details” of the transaction to see the confirmation
   number. PayPal also immediately e-mails you a confirmation receipt.
9.To make a payment through PayPal click on graphic below. The Curriculum Exchange is a
   PayPal Certified Organization.
If you do not have a PayPal account, the following instructions are provided:
1.Go to PayPal’s website www.PayPal.com
2.Click on “Sign Up” at the top of the page
3.Fill out the Quick 1-page sign-up (you do not need to have a “premier” account to pay by
   credit card).
4.Once you submit the sign-up form PayPal immediately sends an e-mail to you. You must open
   the e-mail and click on a special link back to PayPal’s website. Once there, enter your
   password.
5.Continue on the Personal Account Overview Page. Your current status is “unverified”. Click on
   “add a credit card” and fill out the form. You will be permitted to spend up to $1000 through
   PayPal. If you would like to have not spending limit, click on “verify” and follow the
   instructions. That’s it!

Returns

Bargain Wall, Special Orders, and Computer Software are FINAL sales. Special Orders can be returned ONLY if the wrong item was ordered. (If Computer Software is defective, please notify us for an exchange).

All other items purchased in the store may be returned for refund or exchange two weeks from purchase date. Refunds totaling more than $15 will not be refunded on day of return but by mail in 10 business days.

Internet orders, except the items listed above, may be shipped back to the Curriculum Exchange at customer’s expense two weeks from arrival date. Please notify us of return so that we may note your order. Postage will NOT be refunded.

Consignment

Please confirm by phone or email items you want to consign before shipping them. Shelf space for some subjects is limited and some older editions are not being accepted unless an answer key can be provided. Media mail USPS is the least expensive method if shipping your items. (Please include in box(es) your name, address, and phone number).

Items are accepted year round during regular business hours. As always if regular business hours are not convenient, we will set up a drop off appointment. Only during peak season (June- September) sometimes appointments are necessary. Please call before you come with your items. Please organize your items in bags or if possible boxes. At the time of drop off, if time allows, we will quickly glance through the items to determine if there are any items that will not be accepted, placed in the Bargain Wall or FREE boxes. Please confirm personal information before departing.

Your name, address and phone number are required to set up an account.

Older edition Saxon textbooks MUST be accompanied by either the homeschool packet or a solutions manual in order to be sold as a set.

Older edition A Beka and BJU are accepted especially readers and consumables. Most of these items are placed in our Bargain Wall at drastically reduced prices.

Any items accepted for consignment will be priced at the discretion of The Curriculum Exchange.

The Curriculum Exchange will receive 50% of the selling price after the sale.

Any item accepted for consignment MAY be placed in the Bargain Area or Free Box at the discretion of The Curriculum Exchange unless noted by the consigner. If consigner does not wish for items to be placed into Bargain Area or Free Box, it is the CONSIGNER’S responsibility to retrieve items in a timely manner.

Consignment checks are generally written around the middle of each month and mailed when accounts reach $25. Lesser amounts can be used for in-store credit.

There is no minimum shelf time for items accepted. At the discretion of the Curriculum Exchange, items will reduced as time lapses or moved to the Bargain Wall or Free area if the edition becomes too old.

It is the responsibility of the consigner to maintain current contact information.
The result of failure to maintain consigner contact information: After six months from the last failed attempt to contact the consigner for any purpose, all items and funds will be disposed of by The Curriculum Exchange at its discretion.

PLEASE NOTE: The Curriculum Exchange will NOT keep track of the titles NOR items sold. The Curriculum Exchange will keep track of your consignment code on the items and the money owed.

REMOVING INVENTORY: A minimum of a two week notice AND a 10% fee based on total sale value will be assessed. Requests to remove inventory WILL NOT be handled during our peak season: June-September.
